Dr. Margaret Chisolm is associate professor and vice chair for education in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She is co-author of a textbook on psychiatric evaluation and editor of a book on social media in medicine. In addition, she has written more than 70 scientific and clinical articles about substance use and other psychiatric disorders, humanistic practice, and medical education. Dr. Chisolm is a member of the Miller-Coulson Academy of Clinical Excellence and recipient of a 2014 Johns Hopkins Alumni Association Excellence in Teaching Award, and has twice been recognized as an Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism Scholar.
