Irma Arizmendi is responsible for managing corporate philanthropy programs for JetBlue Airways. This includes building strategic partnerships with the non-profits and for-profit sector, supporting employee volunteer engagement, creating STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education focused programming initiatives, as well as managing foundation and corporate grant-making programs. She was responsible for launching the JetBlue Foundation in 2013 and serves on the board of directors. With more than 32 awards for her work in CSR (including an Emmy and Peabody Award), she has a demonstrated ability in developing strategic connections with non-profits, government agencies and community-based organizations to create effective alliances.
