Angela Wu (she/they) is a DEI strategist and facilitator with a decade of experience in DEI education. She is a queer Asian American, a low-income first-generation college graduate and the daughter of an immigrant single mother. Angela developed a passion for diversity education as an undergraduate at Mount Holyoke College, an institution that pioneered higher education for women. She received her M.A. in Policy, Organization and Leadership Studies with a focus on higher education from the Stanford Graduate School of Education. Most recently, she worked at Alexion Pharmaceuticals as the Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Programs and Communications Lead. Prior to working in corporate DEI, she spent her entire career working on behalf of historically marginalized students in higher education at Williams College, Towson University and Harvey Mudd College. She is currently taking a mini-sabbatical to enjoy being newly married to her partner Rachel.
